Opposite of Love

I had a conversation with my roommates about what is the opposite of love. In general most people say the opposite of love is hate. But is it really? Another though is that the opposite of love is actually fear. Because we are afraid we are angry, because we are afraid we hate, because we are afraid we are abusive and because we are afraid we are vengeful. All the emoticons which are opposite of love are actually steamed from fear.

So what is fear then? It’s known that there is nothing to fear but fear itself. Also fear is not real, it’s made up as part of our brain’s self-defense mechanism. In essence we create the fear, we make up this fear and we therefore choose the opposite of love. So where is the love and why is there fear? Why are we afraid? Why do we hurt people from our own fear?

If we all want love and to live happily ever after, why are we afraid of what we want?
