Postcards

Postcards are suppose to tell the receiver that someone far away is thinking of them. That someone is lucky enough to be at the cool place shown in the postcard but rather than enjoy the scenic view or take in the adventures that the postcard shows they are thinking of you. The flip side of that is of course that they are having so much fun that they want to make sure they rub it in to you stuck at home, stuck at work doing the same the thing you did yesterday.

Either way I'm a fan. I love to see all the glory of the world, to see the most beautiful, artistic, developed and calm places in the world. Ever notice that the place always looks better in the postcards than when you saw it? Especially when the postcards are of exotic animals, they always look more lively on postcards than in real life. I guess it's just good marketing.
