Habit

Over the past couple of weeks I have gotten used to the fact that its world cup; to the point where I have changed my life to work around the games. I have all the updates at work, I know when/which games to watch. Pretty much I have shift everything in order to include as much of the sport as possible. Today however is the first day without any games and my co-worker and I feel lost. Its like we are in withdrawal from not having some soccer to watch…no updates, no games… its like we don’t know what to do with our time.

Once we are in the habit of something, no matter how stupid or seasonal it may be we will always get attached to it, then comes the withdrawal. How is it that we can make our lives full filled? What is the lesson here? Should we never get attached to things which are temporary? Is there a way to prepare for this withdrawal? Are their steps to take to prevent this? Maybe we can have one of those meetings…..Hello my name is A Shizzle and I have World Cup withdrawal…

My supervisors should be at that meeting with you. They were so morose all day because of World Cup Withdrawals (WCW).
