Love

It is a common saying that love is blind and that it finds us out of no where. There are many songs which analyze the pleasant joys of love and the destruction and wrath is also has. It's funny to think that people are so opposed with it, it controls so many aspects of our lives. The market for love products is huge, from cards, chocolate, flowers, to favored condoms. But what is this love everyone seems to talk about?

The real question is not where is the love but rather what makes this love. Love is a feeling of the heart, which in general is not the heart that pumps blood through our veins but rather the heart that our mind has made up. The one that stores emotional baggage and is really just certain neurons shooting up action potentials. And of course these action potentials are cause by chemicals. So really all that love feeling between people is just that we are each others love potions. That the diamonds and chocolate are really just parts of the love potion.
