Transit Strike

I seem to possess a very odd gift. Every term where ever I seem to go for my co-op terms (Waterloo, Toronto and Ottawa) it seems that the transit workers in that city want to go on strike. This has been true for 4 out of 4 cities which I happen to be in for co-op. Coincidence? I don’t think so. I don’t really know why but the transit workers seem to always dislike their job slightly more when I’m in town. Maybe this is payback for having an immediate family member working for transit, or maybe its because I was lucky enough never to have to ride the public transit system in my home town. Either way, I warn you now, if I am in you city for a co-op term be prepared for a strike or at least threats for one.
