Anticipation
I hate waiting for things. Its one of the small things in life which totally gets to me and burns me from the inside. I consider myself to be someone who is prompt and on time. I feel that it’s a sign of respect to be on time and or be prompt with important replies. The main reason for this is that you are killing the person waiting for you with anticipation. Maybe this will happen, maybe it will be like that, I should have done that, I could have improved this, what do they think....all questions with simple answers but at some point in each of our lives we have had them run through our minds waiting in anticipation for someone to respond. While we were waiting I'm sure we had a wide range of emotions most of which were negative.
So why anticipate? I believe that if you feel that you have no expectation and that if you think the worst for the situation and move on...then nothing can get to you. I mean if you find out 5 days later that it does work out then bonus....however if you find out it didn’t work well you have already dealt with that situation so its no new news.
For all the optimistic people, the reason I think this is better than seeing it half full is that if you expect it, then u have more issues dealing with the details of the positive result and you end up with more questions which leads to more anticipation. Where as taking the pessimistic side, you can't do anything about it so you deal and move on; no anticipation.
